Advanced functionality with three-dimensionally controlled quantum structures
The workshop on “Advanced functionality with three-dimensionally controlled quantum structures” was held
August 30/31, 2010
in the Hotel Avandi, Hotel am Griebnitzsee The purpose of this workshop is to bring together researchers in these emerging fields for stimulating discussions and collaborations by sharing the research results of the Strategic Japanese-German Cooperative Program project: "Advanced functionality with three-dimensionally controlled quantum structures". DFG JST
The workshop covered a wide variety of topics, including but not limited to:
- Electron transport in low dimensional structures
- Micro and nanoelectromechanical systems
- New physics and experiments in the quantum Hall effect regime
- All electrical control of electron spin /nuclear spin interactions
The conference is sponsored by the Strategic Japanese-German Cooperative Program and PDI.
