The workshop was held on October 13 and 14, 2011, at NTT Atsugi R&D center.

The workshop is organized by NTT, Japan and PDI, Germany.

Electron microscopy

The JEOL JEM-3010 is a 300 kV transmission electron microscope with a LaB6 electron source. It is equipped with an ultra-high resolution (UHR) pole piece that results in a point resolution of 0.17 nm.
 
A flexible condenser system permits CBED, NBD, and high resolution imaging.
