The workshop was held on October 13 and 14, 2011, at NTT Atsugi R&D center.

The workshop is organized by NTT, Japan and PDI, Germany.

High magnetic field system

The high magnetic field system consists of a 14/16 T magnet from Oxford instruments with several low-temperature inserts.

Low-temperature inserts:

  • 3He / 4He dilution refrigerator (40-900 mK)
  • 3He HELIOX insert (300 mK - 150 K)
  • 4He variable temperature insert (1.5-300 K)
Examples of high-quality two-dimensional electron gases based on epitaxially lift-off and then wafer-bonded layers evaluated by means of low-temperature magnetotransport
