Ultraviolet Raman spectroscopy

The UV Raman laboratory is used for spatially resolved Raman and photoluminescence spectroscopy utilizing a confocal microscope and a cryostat on a motorized x-y translation stage. The single spectrograph (Jobin Yvon/Horiba, HR Labram, 800 mm focal length) is, in particular, optimized for measurements in the near ultraviolet (UV) wavelength range. For straylight rejection, a narrow-band notch filter is used.
