Optical excitation:

  • Ti:sapphire fs/ps oscillator (Mira-900 dual):
    wavelength: 700-1000 nm
    external second harmonic: 350-500 nm
    external third harmonic: 233-333 nm
    pulse duration: 250 fs/1.5 ps at 76 MHz repetition rate

  • Optical parametric oscillator (OPO PP):
    fundamental wavelength: 1010-1500 nm
    internal second harmonic: 505-750 nm
    external fourth harmonic: 253-375 nm
    pulse duration: 250 fs/1.5 ps at 76 MHz repetition rate

  • Pulse picker to reduce the repetition rate of the Mira
    to the frequency range between 2.4 kHz and 4.8 MHz


Spectral analysis:

  • Monochromator (220 mm) with single grating

Detection:

  • Streak-camera with photocathodes S20 (IR) and S1 (VIS)
    and a time-resolution of 2 ps
  • Photodiodes for pump-probe detection

Sample environment:

  • LHe-flow cryostat with macro- and microsscope-optic
