in-situ-Xray Workshop

The Paul-Drude-Institute in Berlin was host to the dedicated two-day workshop on

in situ and in vivo real-time x-ray scattering

on February 22 and 23, 2010.

In situ and in vivo real-time x-ray scattering applying high-brilliance synchrotron radiation also in combination with other in situ characterization methods were at the focus of this workshop. We specifically focused on the scientific opportunities and technological challenges in studying the growth and modification of materials with simultaneous x-ray diffraction.

Our intention is to bring together the people working in this very specific field in a framework that encourages in-depth discussions.

Participation is on invitation only.

The workshop was organized by

Wolfgang Braun, Michael Hanke and Frank Schreiber
