Jonathan is a PhD student in Prof. Safa Shoaee’s group, Heterostructure Semiconductor Physics. His research explores fundamental material properties of organic semiconductors, focusing on dark excited states (such as triplets) and their role in limiting solar cell efficiency through recombination. His work supports the development of sustainable materials for next-generation photovoltaic technologies.
