Congratulations to Jakob Schadow, who successfully completed his Bachelor’s degree in Microsystems Technology at HTW Berlin – University of Applied Sciences on 12 December 2025. From April to October 2025, Jakob carried out his Bachelor’s thesis research at PDI, working under the supervision of Nicole Volkmer in the Technology and Transfer Department.
His thesis, entitled “Characterization and optimization of RF magnetron-sputtered zinc oxide layers for acoustic surface wave applications”, investigated the influence of different sputtering parameters on the structural and electrical properties of zinc oxide films.
We warmly congratulate Jakob on this great achievement and wish him every success in the next chapter of his career.
