STATE Experience Science

The first edition of STATE Festival, STATE OF TIME, brought over 1200 international scientists, artists and cultural dwellers together for four days in October 2014 to experience the interplay between scientific ideas and artistic expression. The festival featured presentations, panel discussions, interactive exhibitions, workshops, and a film program, presented in two venues in Berlin: the former mint Alte Munze and PLATOON Kunsthalle.

The event was organized by STATE Studio, funded by PDI and the Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung, with program collaborations from Imagine Science Films and Science Hack Day Berlin.
