Dr. Alexander Kuznetsov to Present at Quantum Correlated Light and Matter Workshop and Phonons 2025
/ Announcements
Dr. Alexander Kuznetsov, a scientist in the Semiconductor Spectroscopy Department at PDI and a member of the Core Research Area Control of Elementary Excitations by Acoustic Fields, has been invited to deliver talks at two internationally recognized conferences later this year.
From November 3–5, Dr. Kuznetsov will speak at the Quantum Correlated Light and Matter Workshop at Aalto University in Espoo, Finland. Held across the university’s Dipoli and Marsio buildings, the workshop convenes leading experimental and theoretical researchers working on emergent quantum phenomena—including excitons, phonons, and magnons coupled to light, quantum states in Moiré materials, and photo-induced correlated states in condensed matter systems and ultracold atomic arrays.
Subsequently, Dr. Kuznetsov will present at Phonons 2025, the 18th International Conference on Phonon Scattering in Condensed Matter, to be held in Buenos Aires, Argentina, from December 1–5. As the latest installment of a distinguished conference series, Phonons 2025 will feature plenary sessions, invited oral contributions, and poster presentations addressing the forefront of phonon physics research, continuing the tradition established in Paris (2023) and Nanjing (2018).
Dr. Kuznetsov’s participation in these events reflects the international visibility and scientific relevance of his work in the field.
