PDI Seminar with Dr. Alejandro Fainstein - April 15, 14:00 CET

On April 15th, at 14:00 CET, Dr. Alejandro Fainstein from Centro Atómico Bariloche and Instituto Balseiro in Bariloche, Argentina will present an online seminar at PDI. Dr. Fainstein will discuss the concept of time crystals (TCs), which involve the spontaneous breaking of time translation symmetry in quantum systems, similar to the spatial symmetry breaking observed in crystalline matter. 

The title of his talk is Exciton-polariton Continuous Time Crystal with an Optomechanical Clock.
