Expertise

Yongjin Cho received his bachelor’s degree in physics from Yeungnam University, Korea, and his MSc and PhD in physics from the University of Notre Dame, USA.

His research focuses on the design and epitaxial growth of semiconductor heterostructures for next-generation electronic and optoelectronic devices, with a particular emphasis on nitride semiconductors. Through engineering material properties, his work aims to enable novel device concepts with enhanced performance.
