Application Laboratory Electron Tomography
The Berlin Application Laboratory Electron Tomography (BALET) is funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and by the State of Berlin for the construction and operation of the Application Laboratory Electron Tomography in the Microstructure Department at PDI.
The Application Laboratory Electron Tomography was established in the Microstructure department to enable implementation, application and development of the tomography method in materials science and semiconductor and opto-electronic technology.
The project initiates cooperation and research projects with small and medium sized companies, particularly in the Berlin-Brandenburg area. Through this application laboratory, the Microstructure Department offers its knowledge on applied research and electron tomography to partners from academia and industry.
