Electrical transport
For the characterization of electrical transport properties, two custom built setups are available, namely a system for Hall effect measurements and a mechanical probe station with a semiconductor analyzer as well as a Seebeck module.
Setup for Hall effect measurements:
- He-flow cryostate (4.2 K to 400 K)
- Electromagnet for fields up to 0.8 T
- DC measurement electronics
- Possibility to illuminate sample with LEDs
Manual probe station
- Keithley 4200 semiconductor parameter analyzer including
- 3 source-measure units
- variable frequency (1 kHz–10 MHz) impedance spectroscopy unit
- Seebeck measurement setup (using Peltier elements and thermocouple probes)
- Possibility to illuminate sample with LEDs
