On Order And Disorder October 31, 2023 - November 09, 2023 / Events , Exhibitions Artist Roland Boden creates a site-specific video work to mark the relaunch of the PDI Science Façade, coinciding with Berlin Science Week 2023. Throughout the week, Boden's virtual science visualization of Order and Disorder will engulf the ground floor of Mitte's nano technology research institute. The exhibition opens at PDI on 1st November, with an artist talk and introduction to the project taking place on 5th November in Prenzlauer Berg.

Nanomaterials /// Plasmatic October 31, 2018 - November 29, 2018 / Events Sadie Weis approaches the curious dialogue between scientific research and artistic investigation through the shared sense of wonder and quest for knowledge both subjects hold. In Weis's multi-media creations, she simulates future-world-making through channels of fantastical science and crystal growth experimentation, often pairing scientific reality with imagination. Over a period of seven weeks, Weis has observed scientists at Paul-Drude-Institut working on the synthesis and physical characterization of crystals beyond those developed by nature.
